Cotswold Business Breakfast a real Eye Opener !

Broadway based Cotswold Conference Centre welcomed dozens of local organisations to a free Open Morning on Thursday 24 January.

The event commenced with a delicious breakfast of local sourced produce, giving visitors the opportunity to get a real taste of what's on offer when using the this award-winning venue for meetings or training.

The Open Morning programme included brief presentations from a cross section of other organisations that use or offer services at the Centre. These include laser clay shooting, financial management courses and belly dancing !

Particularly unique at the Centre are the Eye-Opener team-building activities. Eye-Openers were developed by Shared Vision Ltd using sculptures created harmoniously within the venue's 300 acres of private grounds. Devised to last 20 minutes or more, they can be booked independently to complement any team building or training programme. Also attending the Open Morning, Stuart Gray Associates highlighted the new Experiential Training activities designed exclusively for Cotswold Conference Centre.

There will be free taster sessions of these activities on 26 & 27 February. Local businesses wishing to find out more or to apply for a half day trial (includes lunch) should enquire to Rachael Buttery on 01386 854166 or via the website www.MeetCotswolds.com

Notes to Editors: Cotswold Conference Centre (CCC) was launched in January 2001. The facilities have developed over the past 30 years from humble beginnings as the residential training school for Group 4 Total Security. The centre now boasts 53 well-appointed en-suite rooms from four charming locations on site, which are set within over 300 breathtaking acres of Cotswold Scenery with stunning views across the Vale of Evesham.

The conference centre is the perfect learning environment with a village feel and offers meeting rooms with natural daylight, equipment and support from a small, friendly team. CCC has been recognised as an Investor in People and the team at CCC have been inspected and accredited with Hospitality Assured.

Last year, CCC were a finalist for the Training Venue of the Year Award at the World of Learning Show at the NEC. In September 2004, CCC were delighted to have been awarded a Gold Award at The Heart of England Excellence in Tourism Awards ceremony in the Business Tourism category. This recognition took CCC forward to the 2005 national awards hosted by VisitBritain and, again, they won the Gold Award.

On most weekends throughout the year, the site hosts a range of weekend leisure courses in subjects from Aromatherapy to Scrabble and Jazz.
