CCE SPONSORS TOP LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT EVENT

Conference Centres of Excellence has agreed to be a lead sponsor of World of Learning 2007, the key conference and exhibition for business learning (November 14&15, NEC Birmingham). Its sponsorship will cover a prominent new feature at the event, a Pavilion and VIP lounge area.

World of Learning, now in its fifteenth year, has become an established event for top training, personnel and HR professionals, and others responsible for learning and development.

"More and more, training and education professionals are valuing the contribution that an effective venue can make to their efforts," said CCE Chair Kay England, explaining CCE's decision: "Focus, outstanding facilities, technology and experienced support are all advantages that our members offer them, and we're looking forward to underlining this commitment."

CCE (www.cceonline.co.uk) is the UK's leading consortium of specialist training and conference venues. It has 35 members across the UK, all independent venues working together to communicate the belief that dedicated venues are the best option for effective meetings. Every venue provides a focused learning environment and comprehensive on-site support.

The consortium will be extensively represented at the event. Member venues participating in CCE's own display include Ashorne Hill; Kent's Hill Park Training & Conference Centre; the Robinson Executive Centre; Missenden Abbey; Weetwood Hall; imago at Burleigh Court; Henley Management College and Stirling Management Centre. Other members with individual stands are Ashridge; the Cotswold Conference Centre; etc venues; the Sundial Group and the NCSL Learning & Conference Centre.

More than 3000 specialists are expected to attend World of Learning 2007, which incorporates an extensive programme of conferences, seminars and interactive workshops featuring leading international speakers. Other exhibitors include providers of training and coaching, blended solutions, distance learning, training software and HR/training management systems.

"We are delighted that an organisation as prominent as CCE should take such a leading role at the show," said Jim Reilly, director of World of Learning organisers the Venture Group: "There are many different kinds of support available to help with learning and development, and the right venue is one of the most important."
