CONFERENCE CENTRE CLEANS UP

Cotswold Conference Centre is ‘doing its bit’ for the environment by pioneering the use of ecologically friendly Ecover products within its Worcestershire venue.

The Broadway-based conference facility is the first of its kind to exclusively use Ecover. The revolutionary cleaning products – including everything from washing powder to toilet cleaner – are used throughout the centre, while the bedrooms all contain handwash and shower gel from the company’s domestic range.

The motivation for using these products is environmental, not economic, as Nick Akerman, Sales Manager at Cotswold Conference Centre, explains:

“We sit in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty so we are passionate about minimising the impact of Cotswold Conference Centre on our local environment. Choosing Ecover products fits the journey we are on to reduce waste and do our bit for the generations to come. This isn’t a cost-saving exercise so our clients need to be of a similar mind-set to us. I sense a real trend towards the environment being high up on the list of buying criteria this year. Lets hope for all our sakes that it continues to gather momentum.”
