The Cotswolds - An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

Everyone seems to be spellbound by the views across the Vale of Evesham and our 300 acres are open all year for 'walking and talking'.
There are several public footpaths through the Estate and 'The Cotswold Way' which runs for 99 miles from Bath to Chipping Campden passes by our door. The Government has designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and National Parks as our finest countryside and they are recognised as being of national importance. With its rolling hills and valleys the Cotswolds is the largest AONB and is protected to ensure that its beauty and special character are conserved. It covers 790 square miles.
The Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) is cared for by the Cotswolds Conservation Board - a Conservation Board is a statutory body, established by Order of the Secretary of State with the approval of both Houses of Parliament. The statutory role of a Conservation Board gives it a status which brings opportunities for more streamlined and effective management of the AONB and which makes it easier to attract funds and support. It is the only organisation that looks after the AONB as a whole. We are delighted that the Cotswolds Conservation Board have held their AGM here in recent years.
