Cotswold Conference Centre, based on the Farncombe Estate in Worcestershire will be taking on an exciting new look for autumn 2008.
Plans have been agreed to implement £500k of investment at the Centre over a 6 week period in July/August. The existing Smallbook Suite reception area will be completely transformed to offer a new arrival lounge, a business centre, new technologies and a re-designed Gym and Fitness Suite.
The Dining Room and Bar areas will be extended giving alternative private dining options for the many businesses and private groups that use the Centre on a daily basis.
Accessibility will be fully incorporated with a lowered arrival area for wheelchair users and other free parking facilities.
In keeping with the Estate’s green business ethos, the exterior of the building is also to be re-clad with wood to complement the 300 acres of surrounding parkland.
Sales Manager Nick Akerman explains “We are thrilled at the wider opportunities this investment offers for our business and leisure clients – the full refurbishment will be completed in time for the Farncombe Estate Open Day in September when we hope to welcome several hundred visitors to view the changes that have taken place”.
